EV charging station coming to Scott Farm

Spring is such a special time in Vermont as the air warms, the birds sing, and the flowers blossom. It's a reminder on this Earth Day of how magnificent our environment is and how important it is for us to care for it. We're proud to do our small part in support of a climate resilient future for our properties, community, and planet.

Historic preservation work is inherently environmentally friendly. With the construction and operation of buildings accounting for 37% of human-generated carbon emissions, conserving and reusing existing buildings while working to make them more energy efficient is a key way we can reduce our collective carbon footprint.

One important additional step The Landmark Trust USA is proud to be taking is the installation of a dual mount electric vehicle charging station at Scott Farm later this year. This station will be available for a charge (pun intended) to guests and community members thanks to a grant from Charge Vermont and will move us closer to a world powered by sustainable and renewable energy. We can't wait to power it up!
