Update on Essex Memorial Library

We at the Landmark Trust USA have been very pleased with the interest in the 1938 Essex Memorial Library in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Through a long-term lease agreement with the owner of the former library, we had arranged to make this historic property available for short-term rentals. The Town of Tiverton has recently seen an increase in short-term rentals in different neighborhoods and has now begun discussing revisions to the local zoning. In order to respect the public process and ensure full compliance with local ordinances, the Landmark Trust USA will not be offering the Essex Memorial Library for short-term rentals at this time.
