News from Scott Farm

We are pleased to announce that our new Orchardist is Erin Robinson, who has served as Acting Orchardist for the past year and a half. Erin has the experience and knowledge to be responsible for the care and maintenance of this unique and diverse orchard, with 6,000 trees and over 130 varieties of apples, plus plums, blueberries, peaches, pears, quince, cherries, grapes, medlars, apricots, paw paws, and persimmon.

Robinson’s relationship with The Landmark Trust and the Scott Farm started in 2003; she fulfilled many positions over the years and started focusing her work on the orchard in 2013. Her connection to the Dummerston area goes back generations, and she holds a deep love for this land and community.

Scott Farm fall fruit CSA signups are underway and our market will open on August 7. If you are planning an event, please consider the Apple Barn at Scott Farm. Scott Farm has hosted numerous special occasions, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, celebrations of a life well-lived, birthdays, and family gatherings. We can accommodate groups up to 120. For more information, please contact Simon Renault or call 802-254-6868.
