Naulakha Stable open for reservations!

Very exciting news!!

We're thrilled to announce that reservations are now OPEN for stays at the newly rehabilitated Naulakha Stable, which is scheduled to accept its first guests on January 30!

We have been working hard to prepare the Naulakha Stable to welcome overnight guest for many years, and we are beyond thrilled that, as of today, you can book your stay at this charming new Landmark for January 30 and beyond. This will be the organization's first "new" historic property in over a decade.

The Naulakha Stable is a gorgeous private retreat for 2 right on the grounds of Rudyard Kipling's Naulakha in Dummerston, VT, just minutes from Brattleboro. Originally constructed in 1896 as home to the famous author's horses, Nip & Tuck, the rehabilitated Stable features reclaimed wood throughout and the same attention to quality, detail, and historic character The Landmark Trust USA is known for.

The building's ground floor remains an authentically preserved stable. Guests will climb the stairs to a magical retreat in the former hay loft and enjoy views overlooking Kipling's meadow and the Naulakha estate.

Visit the Naulakha Stable page for all the details, click on Book Now, and select your preferred dates to see availability. Interior photos and additional details will be available in January, but we can share a few current in-process photos below.

Book today and be one of the first to experience this truly remarkable Vermont escape when it opens early next year!
