Boston Chronicle (WCVB TV) Features Naulakha

On February 25, Ted Reinstein of Boston Chronicle on WCVB TV aired a half-hour piece on the Brattleboro area, including Naulakha. Kelly Carlin was interviewed and featured as she and Ted toured the house. Check out the full video here ( the segment about Naulakha starts at 2:31).

Kelly says in the video, “You get to sleep in the same room that Kipling slept in. You can bathe in his actual bthrub. You can cook a meal in his kitchen, or better yet, sit in his chair at his desk where he wrote,”

“Landmark’s philosophy is that we restore these historic homes using what they call conservative repair, which means we didn’t try to make it new. We tried to make it what it once was, so if Kipling were here today, he would recognize it.”
